Your Role
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will:
- Build and manage scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud environments on GCP and AWS
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployments
- Improve cloud reliability by implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Enhance cloud security with best practices in IAM, encryption, and compliance (ISO, SOC2, GDPR)
- Troubleshoot and optimize cloud networking, compute, storage, and database services
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver tailored cloud solutions
- Drive operational excellence through automation and DevOps best practices
Must-have
- 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering experience (GCP, AWS, or hybrid)
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform preferred
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build)
- Experience with Kubernetes (GKE, EKS) and containerization
- Knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, compute, and storage services
- Cloud security & compliance expertise (IAM policies, logging, encryption)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Go, or Bash)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a consulting environment
Nice-to-have
- GCP or AWS certifications (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect – Professional)
- Experience with serverless architectures (Cloud Functions, AWS Lambda)
- Understanding of FinOps & cloud cost optimization strategies
- Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
